Summer Camp2025 Dates: June 30th - August 15thMonday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (Regular hours)Extended hours offered for an extra fee from 7:30am - 4:30pm (more details below)Week 1: 6/30-7/3 (No camp on Friday July 4th)Week 2: 7/7-7/11Week 3: 7/14-7/18Week 4: 7/21-7/25Week 5: 7/28-8/1Week 6: 8/4-8/8*Week 7: 8/11-8/15 (Bullis Week)Camp OverviewMacedon Recreation is excited to offer another summer of camp for kids ages 5-12 years old! Camp is hosted within Palmyra-Macedon Intermediate School for the first 6 weeks (6/30-8/8) and at Bullis Park in the Back Pavilion for the 7th and final week (8/11-8/15). Activities, crafts, and games will be offered in-house, including painting, drawing, gym games, board/card games, themed days, tie dye, library days, talent show, movies, and more. In addition to the in-house activities, we also offer a variety of FIELD TRIPS! Most field trips are an additional charge. More details on cost and how to add field trips to your registration is below.If you do not register for field trips at the time of registration, we cannot guarantee a spot for your child on that field trip once camp starts. Some field trip sizes are limited by the venue so it's best to sign up on registration day. You can request to be put on a wait list for trips that reach capacity.How To Register For Field Trips & Extended HoursDuring registration after you click "check out", complete the disclaimer and move past the donation page to get to a screen titled "Suggested Add On Products"This is where you can select which field trips your child(ren) will be attending, as well as "Extended Hours" for the different weeks of camp. The date for each field trip is listed in the title. Please make sure you only add field trips on days in which your child is already attending camp. We can fix mistakes later but please double check the dates if your child isn't an every day camper.If you wish to purchase Extended Hours, which allows you to drop off your kids at 7:30a instead of 8:00a AND/OR pickup as late as 4:30p instead of 4:00p, you must select each week you need it for.IF YOU ARE REGISTERING MULTIPLE KIDS: The "Suggested Add On Products" screen will show up for each child. Their name will be listed near the top of the screen.Field Trip/Event Dates & InfoPlease make sure you only add field trips on days in which your child is already attending camp. The costs for the trips are already included in the registration fee so you don't need to register for:8/11 (MON) Canandaigua Movie Theater8/12 (TUE) Strong Museum of PlayHOWEVER, Kayaking On the Canal (at Bullis Park) does have an age minimum and limited capacity so be sure to sign up for that if your child wants to do it.8/13 (WED) Kayaking On The Canal: FREE (max 20 kids, must be 8 or older, NOW FULL)
Payment(s) Due At RegistrationWe ask that you pay half of the registration fee at the time of registration, and then paying off the remainder of the balance by the start of camp.
