Who Is Alyssa Rose?
Alyssa Rose loves to go on adventures! She enjoys exploring the forest, ponds, lakes, and streams of upstate New York. She earned a Bachelors of Arts in Teaching from St. Bonaventure University and went on to complete a Masters of Arts in Teaching the Biological Sciences from Miami University of Ohio, in affiliation with the Bronx Zoo. Over the past 10 years she has been a hike leader, naturalist, tour guide, summer camp teacher, and finally camp manager at the Genesee Country Village & Museum. After moving to Palmyra in 2020, she began substitute teaching, but missed leading hikes and sharing her knowledge of nature. So, she decided to go into business for herself!
She obtained her NYS Program Leader Certification in 2024 and is trained in First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety. She is excited to offer outdoor adventures; recommended for families with children ages 4-12 in the Greater Rochester Area, starting with Pal-Mac!
