Macedon Recreation Tennis Camp returns in 2023 with two new instructors!  Joey Pompeii and Matthew Adamson take over duties from Anna who lead the program these past few years.  Please read their bios below the information about this year's camp.

TENNIS CAMP INFO
WHO: Anyone ages 5-18, all skill levels from beginner to competitive players
WHEN: Four weeks starting Monday July 3rd.  Camp runs Monday-Thursday with Friday designated as a rain makeup date
WHERE: Gravino Park tennis courts for the first two weeks.  Once repairs are completed on the varsity tennis courts (behind Pal-Mac Middle School) camp will take place there.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Sneakers & water.  Having your own racket is encouraged but we have some for players to borrow if notified ahead of time.

Hi, my name is Joey Pompeii, I am 19 years old and just finished my first year at Finger Lakes Community College. I am majoring in Physical Education with plans to finish my degree at SUNY Brockport after I graduate FLCC. 

I graduated from Pal Mac High School in June 2022. While at Pal Mac, I played tennis all four years. In my Junior and Senior year, I received the “Ideal Teammate” award. This award is chosen by the team. The award honors the player as the best teammate based on selfless play and is a role model to other players on the team.

I really enjoy playing tennis, doubles is definitely my favorite though. I just took a tennis class at FLCC also. I would love to teach your child more about different tennis rules and how to play the game. I can’t wait to meet all the kids!

My name is Matthew Adamson, I am 19 years old and just finished my first year as a computer engineering major at Clarkson University.

I graduated from Pal-Mac High School in June 2022 and I was a part of the varsity tennis team. At Clarkson, I joined a club tennis team to improve my tennis skills.
